I had thought there would be no pictures
until Cartagena as
the charger for my camera had decided to die. Most of my pictures of Las
Aves came out pink, I thought because the battery was too flat. Thanks
to Laurence and Heidi on Don Quijote who we met in Cabo de la Vela I
have some photos of the next few places. I did find a new charger for
the camera in Curacao but the camera itself must be faulty as everything
is still pink. This would have been ok for the flight of flamingoes that
we saw as we arrived in Bonaire but not for anything else!

This is almost the first view of Bonaire - mountains of
salt.

Kralendijk, the
main town of Bonaire is quite a pretty little place but there is not
much here unless you are a diver.
