Our Zarpe ( cruising permit ) has run out and the weather has got a bit rough with spectacular thunderstorms and rather excitable seas so we decided to miss out Los Roches and go straight to Las Aves. This is little more than a small reef with some mangroves and millions of birds. By the time we got here the weather had settled and we've had a peaceful couple of days recovering from the 29 hours it took to get here.
